Great service, the worker was super patient and recommended the Try Guy for us, and the food was amazing. The brisket and Dino rib were awesome and the truck had lots of southern charm, would highly recommend!

Came here on a Friday. Been trying to get this BBQ for a while but the line is usually really long. Luckily I came on Friday at a great time. No line, instantly walked up and ordered. I got the Try Guy meal. Unfortunately they were out of chicken, but I asked if I can replace it with turkey and they did. The gentleman working that day were so nice, helpful and patient. I also got to sample the gumbo for that day which was also good. The meat was tender full of flavor. The worker was honest and said we wouldn't need the sauce, very true! Definitely had leftovers for the next few days. I would definitely recommend this place and come back.

I saw a review that @latryguy recently did from a food truck in Compton, California. So I was recently in Pico Rivera so I decided to drive to Compton and have some barbecue!!! With the traffic it took me approximately 40 minutes to get there and with the line another 15 minutes to place the order. now I will say the gentleman taking the order was super kind and personable. He took his time explaining the different options and when I told him about the review I had saw on social media he even threw in a complementary side. While I was waiting, he offered to have me try a cornbread muffin that was not included with my meal and I will say it was very good. Onto the food ....when the meal was $90 and there was only a Dino rib, three pork ribs, two pieces of chicken, one hotlink, four slices of brisket along with two sides I do think that's a little pricey!!! oh I forgot about the rolls. The sides that we selected were mac & cheese and the greens. The side that was given to me, complementary was the candid yams.. now I will say this.... the mac & cheese was some of i've had!

I wish I can curse. I F**KING LOVE this corner BBQ. I am a very picky bbq eater to the point I don't like bbq unless it's cooked a specific kind of way I wish I knew how to explain that but if you come here you'll get the explanation. Baby let me tell you the food is Devine, the meat is succulent and juicy and flavorful. With the right amount of smoke and a bbq sauce so good, if I'm not mistaken I slapped my mama. The sides stay on point and the bread is the good stuff. I finally got the dine rib, usually they are sold out. I think I slapped my daddy behind that rib, and I'm sure I got lucky or was blessed but that rib was big. I made sliders with that bread and bbq sauce. The rib slide was good but it was no comparison to the brisket slider. Overall. KC BBQ is where it's at for Compton.
